Huff has been a solid pick for Yahoo Fantasy Baseball owners batting near .300 on the season with 17 dingers thus far in the season. Milton Bradley’s history steered most fantasy owners away from his draft, and rightly so. He was traded to San Diego for a minor league pitcher, and has appeared in just 31 games all season while battling injury. But for the believers in this talent, he did express to media that he has “turned a corner.”

Some general tips for fantasy baseball owners. First, do not let the box score determine when to buy and when to sell. Fantasy baseball is about prediction. If a player slumps badly in the first half of the season like Julio Lugo, at least wait until his play improves somewhat before you ditch him. And maybe the best time to deal out the surprises of the first half of the season is now. If you have Aubrey Huff on your team, maybe this is the time when his stock is the highest. Deal him out and improve your team. There are a few stats that you must take into concern with your fantasy team. Stats like ERA, WHIP, and Batting Average are hard to come back from. Therefore someone who’s ERA is high at this point in the season might be a good choice to cut your losses, but at least wait for him to have a good start before you make the move.
