Fantasy Baseball Mock Draft

Professional teams hold drafts when they want players from other teams. Fantasy Baseball leagues hold simulated drafts such as these. In mock drafts for the Fantasy leagues, each manager for a Fantasy team/league selects one player, then the next manager, then the next, and so on until all the managers’ rosters are filled. There are kits and cheat sheets available to assist with mock drafting. You can find these kits and sheets on pretty much any site that has information on Fantasy Baseball. You’ll also find mock drafting tips and rankings for players to help out with the mock draft.

Yahoo.com has many different options for conducting a mock draft for a Fantasy League. You can have a live online draft, in which you and all other managers select players until your rosters fill up, and all managers participating the in the mock draft do this at the same time, but in different turns. You can also do an automatic pick draft, in which the computer and Yahoo selects your team for you. The computer chooses from the best players based on their default settings, or if you submit a personalized ranking for the players, the computers will choose from that. If you have a custom league, you can also do your own offline draft. The advantage of doing this is that you can conduct your draft whenever you want; there’s no time limit. When you are finished, you can submit your draft results to the Yahoo! website.
