1985 was the only year the Kansas City Royals won the World Series. The 2007 season holds a lot of promise for the Kansas City Royals. The team outbid others to earn Gil Meche, and also added several new players, including Octavio Dotel. In the off season it appeared that they had one of the most aggressive teams. The team also picked up a new motto for the season, “True. Blue.
