One of the lesser teams so far in the realm of Major League baseball, the Kansas City Royals are ever looking to improve on their record. One, of the newer teams to the American League, the Kansas City Royals baseball legacy is only beginning.

1985 was the only year the Kansas City Royals won the World Series. In 1980 the Kansas City Royals made it to the World Series, only to lose to the Philadelphia Phillies. 1985 proved to be a roller coaster year for Royals fans, since the Kansas City Royals schedule was peppered with losses that each time seemed to be impossible to recover from. The 2007 season holds a lot of promise for the Kansas City Royals. The team outbid others to earn Gil Meche, and also added several new players, including Octavio Dotel.
